The Summer of Love!

Wedding bells are ringing once again at Active Hands!

Sarah, our Production Manager, tied the knot with her now husband(!) Paul on the 26th July. They had beautiful sunshine and the day was filled with family, friends, love and laughter! Some of our team headed up North to celebrate with them, and we had the best time!

A few days later, across the channel, Millie’s then boyfriend, Matt, got down on one knee while they were on holiday in the south of France. She said yes! Then she called bestie Jo with the tears of joy still in her eyes! Millie and Matt are already looking at wedding venues with exciting plans to get married in 2027. The team had been placing bets on when and where he’d propose – a few of us had nailed it. We couldn’t be happier for them both!

Lots of our team have had time off over the summer. We love working at Active Hands, but we value time with family and friends too.

And some summer holidays…

Rob, Jo and family headed off to Europe for another road trip in their trusty campervan. They took the overnight ferry to Holland, then headed on to Belgium and France. They even stopped off to see some of Rob’s friends from wheelchair racing and rugby. Highlights included spending lots of time in nature and some really lovely family bike rides.

It was off to the Ritz in London for Karen this summer, having a wonderful afternoon tea with her daughter, Kelsie. And she had an amazing week in Cornwall with her family.

Mel had the best time away with her two boys in Majorca – sun, food and family… the perfect combination!

Jo G has spent a lot of the summer at home, renovating the house she and her husband bought back in June – it’s a 1930s build and a bit of a fixer upper! They hope to be in by Christmas.

In more, exciting news, Hannah went to visit a Bernese Mountain Dog breeder – and hopes to have a puppy in the New Year!
