Sew-On Velcro

This Velcro is suitable for machine or hand-sewing on to virtually any fabric or material. We use this branded Velcro on our gripping aids.

This product does not qualify for VAT exemption. Therefore VAT will be added at the checkout for customers in the UK. Customers outside the UK will pay the price shown above.

Why Velcro?

Velcro is the premier brand of hook and loop fasteners. It is a method for allowing two items or surfaces to be repeatedly fastened and unfastened with relative ease.

For those with reduced hand function, Velcro is generally easier to use than buttons or other fastening alternatives.

Please note, these lengths are pre-cut and will come in the lengths as ordered. For example, if you order 2 x 1m lengths, this will arrive as 2 x 1m lengths of  Velcro, not one long 2m length. You can purchase the Hook and Loop sew-on Velcro separately, or together – select ‘Both (Hook and Loop)’ in the drop-down menu.

When washing Velcro it is advisable to fasten Hook and Loop together, to avoid the build up of lint and thread.

Safety: These materials are excellent tools to your DIY solutions. Some of these materials may be commonly used in safety equipment. However, please remember that safety equipment must be subject to rigorous testing and strict regulations. We do not recommend making safety items yourself.
