Independence at Home’s grants vary between £300 and £600 and depend on the item of equipment purchased or building work carried out. They provide grants for spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, MS, arthritis and many more disabilities. The grants are for people on low incomes and must be applied for by a health or social care professional.
