I always prioritize purchase and acquisition of Active Hands for nearly all of my SCI patients. I think your product is a wonderful rehab tool as well as functional tool and leads to better patient outcomes and overall quality of life! Much respect for the work you have done I’m sure for yourself and your company! For the last 5 years I have been working with a young man who experienced a complete C4-C5 spinal cord injury during a diving accident while vacationing in Mexico with his family. He came in contact with a pair of active hands while doing his acute rehabilitation at Craig Rehab Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He was able to bring a pair of active hands home with him when he moved back to Kansas and we have used them in his rehab every single day for the last five years. The progress he has made has been truly remarkable. We wouldn’t have done it without using your product and for that we are forever grateful. I am 100% sure based on my previous experience with this product that it would change his life forever.

Case Study: Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie first discovered Active Hands whilst recovering from a spinal stroke in Stoke Mandeville spinal unit. She still uses her General Purpose aid regularly and even manage to go sea kayaking with her children for the first time in over 4 years thanks to the firm grip her gripping aid gives her on the paddle! “I cannot even put into words how amazing it was!!! The freedom of the water and the fact that I was in total control and could even take my kids with me - I honestly can’t tell you how wonderful it was! Thank you so much.” Anne-Marie also loves the independence she is given by her cutlery with loops set. “No more having to pick a menu item I can eat with one hand or ask my hubby or kids to cut things up for me - again independence and freedom, things I took for granted before the spinal stroke!”
