Description
If you are lifting heavy weights with our gripping aids you may sometimes find your thumb pressing against the end of the weight. After a while this can become uncomfortable. Place the thumb protector around the weight to prevent discomfort. This gives you a soft neoprene layer to rest your thumb against while you do your workout. The stiffer, grippy back holds them in place.
The thumb protector has slits around the centre to cater for a range of weight diameters. It comes in one standard size, but you can cut to size if required.
Please note this item is sold individually. If you are lifting weights with both hands at the same time you will want to purchase two of them. Combine with our gripping wrap for all-round comfort.
The thumb protectors and gripping wraps are most often used with our General Purpose gripping aids, which help you to hold your hand around the dumbbells.
