Description

This NoseySpray is a device that attaches to a nasal spray. It turns the complex two finger and thumb action into an easy squeeze.

If you have reduced hand function it can be very difficult to activate a nasal spray. Isolating two fingers and pressing with your thumb can be a real challenge. This takes away the difficulty, leaving you free to administer your medication correctly.

The NoseySpray comes with nano tape that attaches to your spray bottle. The flexibility in the nano tape and the legs of the NoseySpray allow it to be attached to most nasal sprays.

How do I attach it?

Your NoseySpray comes with a sheet of 4 strips of Nano Tape. To attach your NoseySpray to your nasal spray, peel off a strip and attach it to a leg on your device. Repeat for the other leg. Follow the included instructions to ensure you position the device correctly on your nasal spray.

We have included two spare strips of Nano Tape, but if you require more they can be purchased from our website.

Can I reuse the NoseySpray?

Yes, you can swap it from one nasal spray to another. Simply pull the device away from the body of your nasal spray and follow the instruction to reattach it to another. If the nano tape has debris stuck to it, you can wash it under a tap. Once dry, it will regain its tackiness.

Please test that a full spray is coming out of your nasal spray and adjust its position if necessary. Follow the instructions that come with your nasal spray.

NoseySpray Instructions

Remove the cap from your Nasal Spray
Remove two strips of nanotape from the plastic film and place them onto the legs of the NoseySpray.
Position the nozzle through the hole in the top of the NoseySpray with the wider part, that you would normally press, parallel to the legs (see Fig 1).

Place the handle at an angle of about 5 degrees and press the legs of the NoseySpray against the body of your nasal spray to secure it in place (see Fig 2). Please be aware that if the angle is too steep then you could break the nasal spray. The bottle can be adjusted if necessary so it’s better to start with a smaller angle.

Do a test spray into the air to ensure that a full dose is being dispensed. If it isn’t: remove the NoseySpray, increase the angle of the handle and adjust the position on the bottle.
To operate: place the nasal spray into your nose, following the operating instructions that came with your medication, and squeeze the handle against the side of the bottle. A full spray should be dispensed into your nostril.
Replace the lid on the nasal spray (you may need to slightly depress the handle to do this).
To swap the NoseySpray to a new nasal spray, pull the device off the bottle. The nanotape can be washed by running it under a tap. Once dry, it will regain its stickiness. A spare set has been included in your pack, if the nanotape has become damaged.
